Painting The Roses Red

Here is a fun card I put together today.. I am in an Alice in Wonderland crazy right now and I am just loving the Wonderland digi's over at Sassy Studio Designs... One of my favorite things to do incorporate cricut cuts with my digital stamps.. For instance, on this card I cut off the 2 items Alice was holding and I replaced them with a pile cut from Everyday Paper Dolls, and a paint brush from Locker Talk... I made my own back ground paper by drawing roses off of Walk In My Garden with my cricut markers... Then I ran a red ink pad down the center of my back ground paper.. The last cricut cut I used was the scalloped circle from Mini Monograms that I put behind my digi.. Finally, I finished the card off by hand writing "Painting the Roses Red" around my digi, adding some blue rhinestones, pop dots to pop up my image, and red stickles..

I entered this card in a lot of challenge and here they are:

Oh, Alice!- Painting the roses red, blue, or purple
Picture Perfect Creations -- Crafty Challenges- use the colors Black, Red, Blue, White
2 Sketches 4 You- Sketch
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays- open challenge
Cupcake Craft Challenges- Flower Power
Stamp Something- Something Girly
