The Sweet Taste Of Freedom




I am so looking forward to Celebrating the 4th of July this weekend... So in the spirit of at I created a card..
To create this card, I used several cut from my Cricut carts... The ice cream cut is from the "Just Because" Cards cart.. I also used my D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug and my Stripes Label QuicKutz embossing folders on the ice cream to give it some texture.. I created the sentiment on this card be using my Design Studio and the Plantin SchoolBook, A Childs Year, New Arrivals, and Cuttin' Up carts... The stars are embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.. To finish this card, I did some tearing, inking, added some stickles, buttons, twine, and used a black marker..

Embossing Flowers Video W/ Card

To create this card, I used an adorable freebie digi from Bodils scrappeverden .. She has some fabulous digi's.. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels... To finish this card I did some tearing, inking, add so flowers (two were embossed) , brads, stickles, lace, and pearls..

Blooming Potted Tree(Practical Scrappers DT Project)



Good morning, I hope everyone is having a Fabulous Friday.. Well, its the day of the week that I get to share with you my project and the challenge going on at Practical Scrappers... I created this potted tree card for my project and The challenge this week is to use FLOWERS.. This week our Grand Prize Winner will receive their choice of 3 digis from our June sponsor Squigglefly. Well, hope you will dig out your flowers and join in on all the fun..

How I created this card, the tree is cut from Joys of the Season cart.. Using my Design Studio I welded a large circle on top of the tree.. I did a lot of embossing on this card.. The top of the tree was embossed with Perfectly Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder, the pot was embossed with Swiss Dots, and the trunk of the tree was embossed with Stripes Label a QuicKutz embossing folder... To finish this card off, I did a lot of inking, added some store bought flowers, brads, and some ribbon..

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I have hit 100 followers!!! Thank you so much for following my blog!!! I appreciate all the sweet comments you all leave me and for you taking the time to see visit my little blog.. Well, that being said I want to give back to all of you!! Beach Bum




Well, I have another page I want to share with you.. I feel like I am on a roll this week..

So to create this page I a lot of cricut cuts... The convertible bug was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up, and the beach bag, sun glasses, sunscreen, bikini, surf board, & beach sign were all cut from Everyday Paper Dolls... I used Pooh Font Set cart to create my title... To finish this page I did some inking, used some twine, store bought flowers, rhinestones, brown/ black/white/blue/ pink markers, crystal lacquer, pop dots, and pearl puffy paint( like what you use on t-shirts)..

Mmmmmmm.. One Sweet Melon





Well, here is a page of my son that I just finished.. To create this page, I used the Just Because Cards cart to cut the slice of watermelon.. The cute little ant paper piercing peeking around my tag is from myscrapchick.com.. They really have some cute stuff.. To create my title & subtitle, I used my Design Studio and the following carts Sesame Street Font, Opposites Attract, and Graphically Speaking.. The black swirls were done with a stencil and a black marker.. To finish this page, I did some stitching, added some brads, picture tabs, and some stickles...

Lightin Up!





Well, I'm trying to get caught up on some scrap booking, and I just finished a page of my son playing with my husbands headband flashlight..

To create this page, I cut the light bulb from the Learning Curve cart, and the flash with the date on it was cut from Locker Talk.. I used the cart Cuttin Up for my title.. To finish this page off I used some ric rak, a black marker and did some inking..

Happy Monday Everyone, I hope you all are having a great day.. Well, I wanted to share this fun summer card with you all..

To create this card, I used a super sassy digi from Sassy Studio Designs .. She has some fabulous digi's.. The water was cut for the Everyday Paper Doll cart, and the sun is cut from Plantin SchoolBook.. I also used the D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on the ocean waves and the Perfectly Paisley Cuttlebug embossing folder on the sun.. The sentiment was created on my computer.. To finish this card I did some tearing, sewing, inking, added some stickles, a flower brad and a small brad..

Yarr!




I have been feeling so creative today.. Maybe it's because my craft space is all organized.. So, I have put to gather a page tonight of my son playing in his tug boat sandbox...

To create this page, I cut the treasure chest, shovel, and map from the Paper Doll Dress Up cart... The pirate ship was already printed on the pattern paper I was using.. I cut the title from the Learning Curve cart.. To finish the page off I did some inking, tearing, and added some rhinestones..

Veg Out (Practical Scrappers Sketch)




This is a page I made of my daughter sitting on the cough watching the ceiling fan when she was a month old.. To create this page I used this Fridays sketch at Practical Scrappers ... The cute carrot was cut from the Create A Critter cart and the lawn chair, bow, & umbrella were cut from Everyday Paper Dolls..I hand drew the face on the carrot.. The title on this page is a digital sentiment from Create with TLC
.. They have some great sentiments... The swirls at the top and bottom of this page were drawn on using a marker and a stencil.. To finish this page I did some inking,tearing, added some rhinestones, and store bought flowers..

I'm Strung Out on You

This is a card I made for my father and my father-in-law for Father's Day... I always try to make a card with my kids hand or foot prints on it.. I just think that it makes the card that much more special..

My father-in-law gave me an awesome shelf he built.. So I decided to reorganize my little craft space.. It was a whole day event, but I am loving my space now.. It reals great to be organized... The top picture is my space before...

Whoo am I holding??? (Practical Scrappers DT Project)

TGIF Everyone, I hope you are having a great day!! Well, it's time for me to share my Practical Scrappers design team project for this week... The challenge this week is to use glitter or flocking. So, I hope you will stop by and join in on all the fuzzy and sparkly fun..

How I created this page: The super cute owl in the tree digi is from Squigglefly... I embossed the top of the tree with a Diamond Plate Cuttlebug embossing folder and added flocking... The pendents on the banner were cut freehand and the green ones were flocked as while.. The "WHOO" in the title are chipboard letters that I covered with textured card stock.. I created the rest if the title on my computer.. To finish this page off I did some inking, added some twine,and an eyelet..

Daddy, You're A Prize Catch




Well, I just got done putting together this Father's Day card and I wanted to share it with all of you..

To create this card, I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cart to cut out the fish, boat, fishing pole, and fish basket.. The seaweed and grass was cut from Create A Critter.. I used a Tiny Mosaic Cuttlebug embossing folder on my fish to give him a scaly look, and I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder to add some texture to the fish basket.. My sentiment was created on the computer... To finish this card I did a lot of inking, some tearing, used decorative scissors, a white marker, stickles, some eyelets , and twine..

Making a Swirl with Eyelets

To create this card, I used the Create A Critter cart to cut the adorable skunk and the stump... The grass is cut from the Plantin SchoolBook cart and the little heart was cut from a punch.. I wanted the skunk to hold a heart, because this is a thank you card for my mom's nurses at the heart hospital she was at a week and a half ago.. I created the sentiment for this card on my computer.. In the video below my card picture, I show you how to create a swirl using eyelets.. To finish this card I did some inking, added some stickles and used a white marker..

It's Your Bird-day!! (SSDS DT Project)


I hope you all are having a great weekend.. Well, on this Fabulous Saturday will be sharing with you my Stamp, Scrap And Doodle design team project and their newest challenge.. The challenge for this week is make something with a pocket.. So it is sure to be a pocket full of fun time and I hope you will stop by and join us..

As for my project, I created a pocket with a transparency and stitched the sides with my sewing machine... The bird house and tree branch were cut for the Create a Critter cart.. Did mention this is one of my favorite carts, LOL!! The tweet little bird-day birdie is one of my own digis and you are welcome to snag him if you want too.. Yet, if you use it please give me credit and I would also love to see what you create.. The sentiment is one of the My Pink Stamper's Punny-licious stamps.. To finish this card I did some inking, used some staples, stickles, ribbon, crystal lacquer, and a white marker..

Tweet Neighbor (Practical Scrappers DT Project..

I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!! The Practical Scrappers challenge this week is Eyelets and The Grand Prize this week is three digi stamps of your choice from Squigglefly! So I hope you will dig out your eyelets and join in on all the fun..

As for my project, this card was created on a transparency.. The birds, bird houses, grass sprigs, and flower stems were all cut from one of my favorite carts Create A Critter... The background grass was cut from the Plantin SchoolBook cart and the fence was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up.. I used brads in the centers of my flowers and flower shaped brad for the openings in my birdhouses.. The sentiment was created on my computer.. I finished this card off with some inking..

Laugh at Life's Little Bumps (SSDS DT Project)

I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS weekend!!! Well, it is time for me to share with you the new challenge over at Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturdays... The challenge this week is to use a handmade embellishment on you project.. The winner will recieve an awesome prize pack of Glitz products... So, I hope you will stop by and join in on all the fun...



As for my project, I altered a note pad.... The digi I used is one of my own and I created the sentiment on my computer... The buttons in center of the flowers were handmade.. I cut circles out of an old cereal box, covered the circles with some glitz paper, and punched 2 holes with my crop-a-dile... To finish this project I did some inking, and added some flowers..
