I'm Guest Designing at My Craft Spot!!!

Hello, hello there my crafty friends. I am so super excited to be guest designing here at My Craft Spot today.. So, for my project I decided to create a fun anniversary card for my husband (since this Tuesday was our anniversary) using the super cute "Down on the Farm stamp set"..I just love this stamp set!!! I am a big fan of pun stamps and there are so many adorable
sentiments on this stamp set..

I found my card base on clearance at Wal-Mart and I just loved the little scalloped window it had..
So, for the background paper on this card I created a stencil using a fish sticker outline..
Then, I took some Salty Ocean Distress ink and inked up my fishy stencil..  I finished my background with sequins and putting white eyes on my little fishes with a gelly roll pen..

 Next,I cut out these two adorable fishes from the Four Legged Friends cartridge and created some
 waves in the window behind them.. The waves were made from vellum cut with a large scalloped
 pair of decorative scissors..

Finally, I finished this fun card off with the prefect sentiment
 found on the "Down on the Farm stamp set"..

Here's a list of the supplies I used:

*Four Legged Friends cartridge (fish)
*"Salty Ocean" Distress Ink
* Sequins 5mm
*Scalloped Window Card Base
*Small Fish Stamp Outline
*White Jelly Roll Pen
*Vellum
*Large Scalloped Decorative Scissors

Want to win a My Craft Spot stamp set of your own?!?!
Just leave me some comment love with your email, and which  My Craft Spot stamp set is your favorite for a chance to win that actual set (How Awesome is That!!)!! I will announce the winner on  Monday the 22nd..

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

You can't have a Rainbow without any rain..

So, thing have been very crazy around here.. I do have to say that I am so very bless to still have a home and my family are safe.. Yet, sadly a lot of my neighbors weren't as fortunate.. Every day when I drive out of my neighborhood it's a gut wrenching, heartbreaking constant reminder of how close I was to losing everything. I have really been trying to regain some normalcy amongst all the devastation that surrounds us and it is a daily struggle.. Yet, I know that our town will be back and better than ever.. All I can do is try my best everyday to carry on and be thankful for amazing people and everything I do have in my life..

Okay, now let me get to some fun stuff.. I created this card using the sketch at the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge Blog ... I really love how this card turned out and I thought the up lifting sentiment was a prefect fit..

* Circle Punch
*Royal Jewels (Royal Castle Shoppe )

Well, that's what happened with this card but it turned out so much cuter then I had thought it would (I just love it when that happens, lol).. These two birds turned out so adorable!! I used a circle and

*From My Kitchen (slim rectangle for card front)

A Purrrr-fect Teacher Valentine

Hi my crafty pals, I am so glad you stopped in today!! I have a Purrr-fect teacher Valentine to share with you all.. My son's school isn't allowing us to bring food or candy for the kid's on Valentine's Day.. Well, I thought it won't be far to the kids if their teacher got some candy treats.. So, I decided to create some fun heart shaped hand warmers and a cute gift bag.. I got the hand warmer idea from a Joann's email you got a little while ago.. I love how these turned out and I now I think I need a pair for myself :0)

Instructions:
1) Fold Felt in half and trace heart shape onto the felt (1 sheet makes 4 hearts)
2) Cut hearts out
3) Sew around edge of the hearts but leave a little opening for filling
4) Fill hearts with rice and sew your small opening closed
5) Print or hand write a tag saying "Heat in microwave for 45 seconds.  Place in your pockets
to keep your hands warm"

{My little leopard turned out way better then I had originally visioned}

{Yes, I had to give this little cutie some wobble action, lol}

Supplies for the gift bag..

*Create a Critter (Cat & Heart Balloon)
*Secret Crush paper collection (Pink Paislee)
*Pick Licorice (Trendy Twine)
*Copic Markers
*White Gelly Pen
*Ink
*Action Wobble
