Have a Great Birthday, Matey

Hello all my wonderful crafty friends, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend !!! I had a great 4th of July weekend and got to spend lots of time with my family.. I'm really excited to share this really cute birthday card I made for my nephew.. When I was looking through my sentiment stamps, I was inspired by this adorable pirate sentiment on my Joy’s Life "You're So Punny Stamps"set.. After finding my sentiment, the octopus pirate cutie on "Create a Critter" cartridge popped in my head and I thought the two would be a perfect match :0)

To create the Arrrr-dorable card I used:

*Gypsy(to create card base)
*Plantin SchoolBook (large rectangle for back half of the card base)
*From My Kitchen (small rectangle for the front of the card base)
*Create a Critter (Octopus Pirate)
* "You're So Punny Stamps"set ( Joy’s Life )
*"Boy Mates Assort. Stamps (Peachy Keen)
*Large Scallop Decorative Scissors (to create waves)
* Ink
*White Pen
*Black Marker
*Stickles

Challenges:
Fantabulous Cricut - Challenge Me Monday #67 { Create a water-themed project}
*Getting Cricky with K Andrew* - Simply Sunday Challenge {Summer-time Fun project}

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.. Oh, don't forget the new"Getting Scrappy Challenge"going up this Sunday.. I would love to see you get scrappy with us :0)
