Cooking Up A Happy Birthday

Hello all you fabulous crafters, I hope you're having a great Wednesday... I'm being lazy today because school starts tomorrow and I have a feeling thing are going to be busy from now on.. So, I wanted to share this fun vintage style birthday card I created for my sister-in-law.. She has a passion for cooking and so I thought it would be fun to create a cute card with a cooking theme.. I also made my card a "tent card" this is my first attempt at this style of card and I love how it turned out :0)

Here's what I used to create this fun vintage card:

*Gypsy ( to create the card base)
*Nifty Fifties (apron)
*From My Kitchen (recipe card & whisk)
*StoryBook (marque)
*Paper (K&Company and the Paper Studio)
*"Father and Son Stamps" set ( Joy’s Life product page )
*Crinkle Ribbon (
My Craft Spot )
*Ink
*White Pen
* Black & Gray Marker
*Large Brad
* Pop Dots

Challenges:
Crafty Sprouts -"Tent Card"
The Pink Elephant - "Stitching"

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.. I hope you will stop by for the "Altered Composition Book" Blop Hop happening this Friday.. Oh, don't forget the new"Getting Scrappy Challenge"going on this Sunday!! I would love to see you get scrappy with us :0)
